Q. How much does it cost to have an Alpen Delicious product delivered?
A. Free delivery for orders over $99 within 15km of the CBD.
Smaller deliveries under $99 have a delivery fee of $10.00 for next day delivery within 15kms of the Melbourne CBD.
Deliveries between 15-30kms of the Melbourne CBD have a fee of $20.
There is no minimum order value imposed by us for delivery unlike so many others in the marketplace*. So if your order is big or small, no problem, we will deliver it to your home, or office, or anywhere you want as long as it's in the delivery zone with someone there to sign for the delivery.
For all areas outside our Melbourne metro delivery zones (30kms), we can arrange delivery via quality refrigerated couriers. Call us to find out more.
* Orders before 2:00pm Monday-Thursday (excluding public holidays).
Q. When will my order be sent out?
A. Orders placed over the weekend are processed the next business day. All orders received by 2pm Monday to Friday will be processed & delivered the next working day unless you have specified a future delivery date in the comments section. All our deliveries are usually completed the following business day before 2:00pm. Whenever your order is time sensitive, why not order a day in advance. Too easy :-) Please take note, our standard delivery zone and our FREE delivery offer for orders over $99 only apply to distances 30km from the CBD. Further than this will incur extra delivery fees. Please contact us for quotes. If you are unsure about anything concerning your delivery, please give us a call to clarify.
Q. How are products delivered?
A. Alpen Delicious has its own fleet of refrigerated delivery vans. All deliveries will need to be signed for.
Q. What if I am not home when the delivery arrives?
A. We will try to contact you on the mobile number provided with your order. If we can't get in touch with you our redelivery fees will apply. Redelivery on the same day as the original delivery date or on a subsequent date will incur an additional fee of $20.00. Note: Sometimes, it's just not possible to redeliver the same day.
Q. What if the address for delivery is incorrect?
A. If the incorrect delivery address is supplied or if there is no special delivery instruction provided, all ordered product(s) will be returned to Alpen Delicious and we will contact you to arrange redelivery. Redelivery on the same day as the original delivery date will incur an additional fee of $20.00. Redelivery on a subsequent date will also incur a $20.00 charge. Note: Sometimes, it's just not possible to redeliver the same day.
Q. Can I order online then pick up my order directly from Alpen Delicious?
A. Yes, by arrangement - contact us.
Q. Can I forward order products?
A. Of course you can. We have an ordering system that allows you to order any item for a specified future date. Any dates placed for weekend delivery or public holidays will be delivered the business day beforehand.
Q. What's the difference between Flourless and Gluten Free?
A. The ingredients in all of our flourless products are in fact gluten free. Specifically though, only products that are sealed and produced in special gluten free environments can be called Gluten Free. Although our suppliers take extra precautions to ensure there is no cross contamination from products that contain gluten, or simply from things like flour that can float through the air, it's a possibility that trace amounts can come to rest on the food. This is why Alpen Delicious and the food industry prefers to call the unsealed products Flourless. If you are Hypo Allergic, please, only purchase our sealed Gluten Free products. They're guaranteed to be Gluten Free.
Returns & Refunds - (Remember our Happiness Guarantee)
Q. What’s your returns / Refunds policy?
A. Alpen Delicious will replace or refund for any, repeat any mistake Alpen Delicious or the product manufacturer makes. If the product is not quite right, we will replace or refund. However, we will not accept liability for any loss or damage arising from items lost, stolen or damaged after delivery has taken place. We cannot accept products for return if they have been opened, or cut as this is a health department issue that we have no control over. We would also like to note that manufacturers sometimes change the presentatiion of their products without notice and we can not accept returns on this basis.
Q. How do I return an Alpen Delicious order?
A. Contact Alpen for an evaluation of your return request. Where a return is reasonable, you will be supplied with a returns address. It is your responsibility to return the product(s) to us. As a rule we will require Alpen Delicious product(s) be returned to us within two days of the date of delivery for examination of the problem and in order to assess whether to replace the goods or refund you, at our discretion.
Q. I do not like the product I ordered, what can I do?
A. Contact Alpen for an evaluation of your return request.
Q. What if a product I order is unavailable at the time of delivery?
A. We will contact you to either offer you a similar product or we will refund your order value.
Q. Can I cancel an order?
A. If you would like to amend or cancel your order, please call customer service on 0418 548 167 or email stefan [at] alpendelicious [dot] com [dot] au. Orders can be cancelled before midday up to one business day before the scheduled delivery date. There are no cancellation fees or charges if you cancel within the required time frame. Please note that once an order has been processed Alpen Delicious is unable to cancel or amend it.
